Meet the Chef Darren Connor
In 1995 Chef Darren Connor started his career under the supervision of Chef Lenard Smoke Sharplis at Koal Keel Restaurant located in The Valley Anguilla. He then went on to further his education at the Culinary Institute of America in New York. Shortly after completing his culinary education Chef Darren worked in Martha’s Vineyard Massachusetts for two summers at the Cornerway Restaurant in 2008.
After his culinary journey in the USA, Chef Darren returns to Anguilla and Join Viceroy Hotel and Resort Anguilla. Chef Darren Connor was part of the Anguilla Culinary Team in 2014 which awarded him two gold medals and two gold plates for the Best Beef and the Best Beef overall. Chef Darren passion for cooking soon led him to forge his own path as he opened Sarjai’s Restaurant.
